AA Taxis was set up in the mid 1990's where the company primarily operated in Alnwick and Amble, hence the name of AA Taxis.
The taxi firm was later divided into two separate sole trader companies in 1999, when Mr Tom Miller purchased a stake of AA Taxis.
He then proceeded to drive the company forward over the next 10 years, providing reliable taxi services throughout Alnwick and its surrounding areas.
In 2009 the business became a Limited Company, taken over by Mr Steve Miller as Director with the new company name of AA Taxis and Private Hire Northumberland Limited, although still trading as AA Taxis for local familiarity.
